Activities carried out by the Association

Recent Events in 2009:

* Went to parliament about the poor condition of the sickle cell clinic in Mulago.

* Established a parent support Group.

* Joined the international patient organization.

* Participated in preparation of International Disability day in Uganda.

* Volunteer and Counseling training.

* Several/Different Meetings with other NGO's

Annual Sickle Cell Disease Children's Christmas Party, January 2008, Bat Valley, Kampala -Uganda.

Everybody had a blast at the party -- the kids were excited to associate with the Ugandan-American US Air Force Captain cutting a cake with Mzee Wamala, the oldest sickle cell patient in Uganda.
